What You Need to Make This Tropical Scrapbook Page
Have a variety of coordinating papers, as well as stickers, embellishments and mats to go along with your theme.
For tools, I always have my 12 inch trimmer available and love this one the most. Have your adhesives ready to go too!
How to Make This Tropical Scrapbook Page
Firstly, note that my completed tropical scrapbook page is turned. So all of the instructions here will be based on the sketch pictured here.
Begin with a 12″ x 12″ base. We’ll be adhering all of the elements right to this page. Trim your smallest strip to 1/2″ x 12″ and adhere to the right edge of your base. Trim another strip to 4-1/2″ x 12″ and adhere against the edge of the smaller strip. Trim another strip of paper to 4″ x 12″ and adhere on top of the 4-1/2″ strip.
Trim 3 photos to 4-3/4 x 3-1/4″ and another to 3″ x 3″. Create mats for them at 5″ x 3-1/2″ and 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. Adhere the photos to the mats and then adhere to your layout as shown.
Create a journal box with a mat or designer paper at 3″ x 3″ and matted on at 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ of paper. Add a title to your border strip.
Embellish and journal as desired and you have made a quick, tropical scrapbook page!
