If you are looking for a fast scrapbook layout, this is the one for you! The entire base of this layout is 6 mats from the Creative Memories Variety Mat Packs. This layout was also found on the Creative Memories blog, which you can click here to see their instructions for it. You can also print instructions for later at the end of this post!
What You Need For This Fast Scrapbook Layout
To create this fast scrapbook layout, you only need a 12″ x 12″ base of cardstock. This will not be seen in the completed layout, so I used a piece of cardstock that I had made a mistake on before to conserve my “good” cardstock.
You will also want to pick out 6 – 4″ x 6″ mats that coordinate. If you don’t have mats, you can cut 6 pieces of coordinating designer paper to that size, which will do the same thing. I loved how the mats made this layout so easy though, and made it a true fast scrapbook layout.
You’ll want your 12 inch trimmer and adhesive too.
How To Create This Fast Scrapbook Layout
Start by adhering all of your mats, vertically, to your cardstock base in rows. You will have 3 at the top and 3 at the bottom.
Take 4 photos and trim them to 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″. Mat them (using 3-1/2″ x 5″ pieces) and adhere them to your layout in various mats where you don’t want your title and journaling.
Add a border/border sticker across the middle of your layout as shown.
Embellish and journal!

It really is that easy! I has this layout done in 20 minutes. The hardest part for me was picking out my mats. I also altered a sticker and used an embellishment with it to create the title I wanted, which created an even better layout for my theme.
