What is needed to make this vibrant scrapbook page?
To put together this vivacious scrapbook page, you will need a few coordinating designer papers. I used the Great Lakes papers and stickers for this layout for our Whitefish Point visit. It was perfect!
I also used the exclusive Lighthouse Border punch, but you will want to use a border punch or sticker that works best for the theme you are working with. There are lots of border punches on the Creative Memories line that are awesome!
You will also want your basic tools like the 12 inch trimmer and adhesives.
How to make the vibrant scrapbook page in a breeze!
This page is very simple to put together and it took me no time at all!
You will take the piece of paper you chose for your bottom layer and cut it to 12″ x 4″. Adhere it to your base. I used a louder sheet for this strip because it added so much pop to my calm page. The juxtaposition worked very nicely with this collection.
Next, you will want to punch out your border. You can use a border punch that matches your theme, a border maker cartridge that goes with the Border Maker System, or even find a great sticker border or embellishment border that will work nicely!
Then, take your photos and trim them to the size you prefer. I left mine full size because I only had two and wanted to fill the top part of the page more. Mat your photos on a coordinating paper or cardstock. The nice thing about the newer Creative Memories paper packs is that they come with a key on the cover page telling you what colors match that collection.
Once you have your photos adhered to your page, decorate it with some coordinating stickers, embellishments, and other fun items. Be sure to do some journaling so that if someone is looking at your page and book and you’re not there, they can know the whole story!
Isn’t it nice to have a page done so quickly? Hang onto these instructions for future use! In fact, you can download them to print and keep below.
