Nothing makes a better Christmas greeting in the mailboxes of your friends and family than handmade cards. Fellow Advisor, Debbie Martin put together a handy instruction sheet so you can create your own cards using only 3 sheets of Creative Memories designers papers! You can download it at the button below:
Make These Handmade Cards
To make these lovely cards, all you will need is your 12 inch trimmer, adhesive, card envelopes and bases (I made my own), 3 sheets of coordinating CM designer paper, and coordinating embellishments. Foam squares also make these cards pop!
All you will need to do is cut each of your papers according to the cutting guide in the instructions. Then mix and match on your bases to create your own version of these fun, handmade cards! You could even use other types of papers to make cards for other occasions. Creative Memories has a lot of others you could use, like birthday papers, spring papers, and more! Check out what is currently available here.
When it comes to the bases of these cards, I made my own by taking 6 sheets of white cardstock, and cutting 2 – 8.25″ x 5.5″ rectangles from each sheet and scoring them at the 4 and 1/8″ mark. You will need 12 bases total to use all of your pieces. Creative Memories will be offering blank card bases and envelopes soon for all of your created handmade cards. You can see those here.
Creative Memories also offers Card Kits that are already cut for you and just need to be put together. You can see what they have here.
Check out my video about making these handmade cards too. I take you step by step so you can get those together in no time!
