Make A Serene, Ocean Scrapbook Page in 20 Minutes

Ocean scrapbook page

I like to keep it simple sometimes with my scrapbook pages, and this ocean scrapbook page from the Creative Memories blog is no exception, as it only took me 20 minutes to make! It brought back fun memories of my time in Mexico with my new friend, as we kept attempting to write a photo op in the sand, but the waves kept beating it away. Check out how I made this page!

What You Need To Make This Ocean Scrapbook Page

I made my layout into a 2-page spread, but these instructions are for 1 ocean scrapbook page. Just double it for a 2-page!

To create this ocean scrapbook page, you will need a 12″ x 12″ base paper, and other coordinating papers and colors to create the other elements on your page. Have your 12 inch trimmer handy – I love this one, as well as your adhesives.

For my base, I used a Fast 2 Fab page which is awesome for getting pages done quickly while also looking fabulous!

You’ll also want to have something to create your border with, whether it be border embellishments or stickers, a border maker system, and/or a border punch.

Have some coordinating stickers and embellishments to decorate your ocean scrapbook page with.

How To Make This Ocean Scrapbook Page

On my ocean scrapbook page, I did not add the other layer since I was using a Fast 2 Fab page. But, if you want to stay true to the original sketch, you will want to cut a piece of designer paper to 10-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and adhere it towards the top of your base as shown.

Then, cut another piece of paper or cardstock to 10-1/2″ x 2″ and adhere that below your larger piece.

Either take a border sticker or punch out a border, and adhere it just above your bottom, 10-1/2″ x 2″ piece/ over the seam of your top piece and bottom piece.

Trim 3 photos to 3″ x 3″ and adhere on your base as shown. Use another 4″ x 6″ photo and mat it to a coordinating color sized 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″. Ad here that towards the right, center of your layout.

Add a title sticker or abc stickers for your title. Embellish and journal!
