Adventure Awaits! Scrappy Summer Camp 2026 – Week 7

Week 7 – Hiking the Circle Pass Trail

Another hiking week is here, and it is fun with circles! I know there are always mixed feelings about circles, but I truly love these layouts and I think you will too. A couple are a little more challenging this week, but worth the work for sure! We have conquered so many other, challenging hikes before, and you can certainly take these on as well!

Are you ready to get those packs loaded and get on the trail? Let’s go!

Check out your weekly overview video here!

Challenge 19 โ€“ Use #ScrappyHike19

Our first leg of the Circle Pass Trail takes us to a gorgeous page, originally put out by Meggan Jacks, who is a genius! I love how this one turned out and it really isn’t too hard. The outcome is absolutely stunning though!

All you need to do for this one is find a designer paper you like both sides of, and cut a circle from the center of it, using your Jumbo Circle Cutting Pattern.

You will want to make sure to line your circle pattern up very centered since you will also be using the “shell” left behind by the paper too! Once you have your pieces, you just cut them into quarters, flip them around and adhere them on your base!

I also added some flair with the the Festive Bursts Border Maker Cartridge on the corners of each of the “shell” pieces, but that is totally optional. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hope you have so much fun playing with this one and find that it isn’t too hard at all to create!

You can download a printable “map” below to help you on this hike.

How to Submit Your Challenge:

To post for your submission, take a picture of your finished layout. Then go to our 2026 Scrappy Summer Camp โ€“ Adventure Awaits! Group. Upload your photo in itโ€™s own post and label it with #scrappyhike19 (make sure it turns blue when you tag it). Sometimes you have to turn the header formatting off when you go to post, or space down a line or 2.

Do this by Sunday, July 26 for your shot at the challenge drawing, and/or by August 16th at 5pm for entries for the grand prize drawings!

Challenge 20 โ€“ Use #ScrappyHike20

For the next leg of our Circle Pass Trail hike, we are taking on another border page! This one is super easy and fun to do too!

You can mix and match your punches or use embellishments or stickers to create.

The focus here is the border, but it does need to be on your page in order to count. =)

This will come together pretty quickly for you, so I hope it is one that you can use again and again for whatever theme you are working on. It is a great way to fill a page and plug in whatever themed embellishments or punches you want to.

Remember to get that sheet of instructions below to help you create or to save for later! Remember that the instructions are based on the Creative Memories’ example, and not necessarily the one I did.

Have a great hike!

Challenge 21 โ€“ Use #ScrappyHike21

For the final leg of our hike this week, we are taking on this gorgeous layout that will be a perfect page for a title page or to highlight 1 or 2 amazing photos. I wanted to use this one to create a fun opener page for my nephew’s birthday party.

This one isn’t really hard, but it is a bit tedious. If you find that simply doing a line or 2 of the quartered circles is better for your photos, you can simply create a border with this technique on your page as well. (I won’t force you to fill the page like I did. ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

The instructions below call for you to create circles using your custom cutting circles (largest circle in the trio) and your green blade in the inside of that, but you will just want to create 3-1/4″ circles in some way so they fit with the rest of the measurements of the layout.

This is a layout that I found floating around Facebook, but only could snag a screenshot, so there weren’t specific instructions. So I came up with them on my own, based on the picture. Thus I don’t have a direct instructional source for you. Hopefully the instructions you can download below are helpful for you and you can adapt it to what you need for your pictures.
