I absolutely love this layout and how easy it was to put together! It uses up a lot of mats, helping you create your layout fast, and it is one I found on the Creative Memories blog! (Beware of the wrong size for the small squares on there. See my printable instructions below for the right sizes as I corrected them.)
I think the Chasing the Sun Collection by Creative Memories is so fun and playful, and it was the perfect set to use for some of my kiddo’s summer camp pictures with friends!
I also did a video walkthrough of this one that you can watch on my YouTube Channel. I love to make layouts with you and they are great to watch ahead of time so you don’t make any of the mistakes I did in this one. Mostly just because of the mislabeled size in the CM instructions.

I hope you have so much fun with this one and have a chance to use up some of the mats you have on hand. If all else fails, just cut your pieces from papers. The mats are all 6-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ and the half mats are 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. I used one big mat with the split title/journal box for that section, so I didn’t even have to cut mine in half.
