This is a newer post on the Creative Memories blog that I saw and couldn’t resist! Plus it would be so pretty with all sorts of themes!
To do this one, you can use whatever type of border punch/bmc to make it work, but in the original example and in my page, a “knock out” style punch was used. This means that the border didn’t leave an edge on the paper, nor come off the paper as a chain. However, I believe you can make any of them work. Just try it out and see how it will come together, because not all bmcs and border punches are created equal.
I put my example together using the new, limited time Molten Lava Foiled Papers, which are gorgeous! I also used the Festive Bursts BMC to create my little stars, which is great for more than just birthday, as you can see here. I also used elements from the Black Friday bundle last year, Star of Wonder.
